The workshop will include three parts:

1. Presentation
We will go through selected indoor and outdoor portfolios including travel photography from Jerusalem, Morocco, Tanzania and Rwanda. During this presentation you will have opportunities to ask questions regarding my technique and the equipment which I am using as well as software, methodologies and systems. I will also talk about studio photography, light, modifiers, composition and posing. In addition, this talk will include aspects related to post processing, creating a portfolio, printing and entering the Awards.

2. Demonstration
Creating glamour photos using a studio light and modifiers as well as natural light. We will focus on different lighting techniques and posing with the aid of props to create dramatic portraits of our model.

3. Hands On
This is where you will practice some of the techniques using your camera. SONY will have lots of different cameras and lenses to try so simply bring a memory card to take your images home. You will also be able to try different printing papers courtesy of EPSON who will have an A3-A2 size photo printer available for us. You are welcome to bring your favourite images on a USB or an SD card (JPEG format) so these can be printed during the workshop. Bring an empty cardboard tube so your print will travel home safely.
